Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations (2013) became law in the UK on 1 January 2014 and refer to the government’s interpretation of the EU Directive 2012/19/EU.

As a manufacturer of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) it is Philip Payne’s responsibility to ensure that measures are in place to allow for the environmentally sound disposal of this equipment once it reaches the end of its lives. The Philip Payne WEEE registration Number is WEEE/DK0073UQ

Philip Payne is registered with the the Lumicom Compliance Scheme https://lumicom.co.uk/producers/ and as such complies with a number of obligations as set out below

WEEE Marking

All Philip Payne Ltd products placed on the UK market on or after 13 August 2005 are marked with the WEEE symbol, which is a crossed out wheelie bin with a date line under it to state it was placed on the market after the above date.
