Crieff Hydro is one of Scotland’s best known hotels, celebrated for its heritage and distinctive interiors. As part of a wider refurbishment, the team needed an emergency lighting solution that delivered compliance while respecting the building’s character.

Philip Payne worked with KJ Tait to develop a tailored approach that supported the interior design strategy. Exit signage in an Antique Brass finish was specified to blend with the upgraded spaces, offering essential performance in a subtle, sympathetic form. British manufactured luminaires were selected for their quality and visual restraint, with close project support throughout.

The completed installation strengthens guest safety without interrupting the hotel’s aesthetic and joins other notable hospitality projects including The Savoy, Raffles London and The Ritz.
