Philip Payne was established in Solihull by Philip Payne, his wife Isobel and son Michael. First entry in the order book: 13th June 1968 £62-14 shillings for Robert Jenkins & Co.
The original crystal and decorative luminaires were phased out with the company focusing on hospital warning signs and back and edgelit signage luminaires.
The CBH fitting provides a wall mounted alternative for over door and wall mounting requirements.
Supplied with a first fix back box along with pre wired plug and socketed arm kits and cover for subsequent installation.
EnquireThe CBV with square back box and provides 3 standard sized rods “from ceiling” vertical drops.

EnquireThe Mini CF has been much utilised by designers where high ceiling heights or installation difficulties pose problems. The product comes with a standard 500mm rod suspension kit which can be cut on site to suit exact requirements.
Extended or custom lengths are available to factory order if required.
The Mini CF is normally used in Satin Chrome or Bronze finishes but can be supplied in the normal range of Philip Payne finishes.
EnquireThe electronics and battery are concealed in a flush enclosure to minimise intrusion into the design space.

Longer vertical drops are available by special order to provide a striking product.
EnquireSpecto-XT is a revolutionary wireless emergency lighting control system that allows users to monitor data and complete operational information for all Specto-XT emergency luminaires.
Specto-XT emergency luminaires are self-test by default and have the ability to wirelessly connect to the Specto-XT website via a central Gateway.
Information is displayed on the Specto-XT website which can be accessed from anywhere using a computer, laptop, tablet or smart-phone.
The clear graphical user interface provides an overview of the whole site, through to the performance and operation of an individual luminaire.
