Working with British manufacturers during the initial implementation of LED lighting, Sean has worked with the design teams to develop products to meet both customer demand and market trends.
Having also spent time working for an electrical installer in the new and fast-moving EV Charging industry. Sean loves learning about new technology and helping deliver projects for clients, understanding the processes from manufacturer to installer and end users.

Nathan has worked in the fire, security and life safety industry for over 18 years, gaining knowledge firstly as an apprentice installation engineer at 16 years old before working up to a senior engineer position, and as an engineering team supervisor.
Nathan moved into a technical sales role in 2015 working as an account manager at leading Fire & Security company working with end users on their fire strategy to ensure compliance on their fire and emergency lighting installation.
Nathan is one of our Project Sales Manager based in south part of the UK. Developing relationships electrical contractors and end users.
Nathan has a wealth of experience consulting with clients about the selection of emergency products and systems, with superb knowledge of best practice coupled with, and adhering to, the latest standards and regulations.

Daniel has been in the lighting industry for over 20 years.
Before lighting Daniel was an electrical contractor gaining valuable knowledge for his career in lighting. He has a wide range of experience in many aspects of lighting including maintenance, project management, emergency testing, surveying but mostly in lighting design where Daniel has worked for some of the country’s largest manufacturers as well as multinational organisations.
Daniel has worked on projects all over Europe including Italy, Germany and Poland, from site survey to finished lighting designs and delivery. His experience ranges from industrial power stations to high end retail and throughout these various projects, Daniel has always had a keen eye for regulations and emergency lighting which makes the lighting consultant role at Philip Payne an excellent fit for his skills and knowledge.

Having completed formal qualifications through City & Guilds, the Lighting Industry Association (LIA), and additional certifications in lighting design, Steven offers both technical and practical insight to every project.
Throughout his career, Steven has worked closely with manufacturers, consultants, and contractors to deliver tailored lighting solutions across a range of sectors. With a passion for quality and compliance, he is particularly skilled in helping clients select emergency lighting and control systems that meet current regulations while also aligning with real-world performance needs.
