Kilworth House, Leicestershire
United Kingdom
Set in South Leicestershire, Kilworth House is a grade II listed Italianate country house, designed by A E Purdie as a family home in 1888 for John Entwisle, the High Sheriff of Leicestershire.
In 1999 a major restoration project commenced with Kilworth House Hotel taking over 4 years to return to its original beauty.
This involved working with English Heritage to preserve the grade II star listing of the Victorian Orangery.
Philip Payne devised a range of new finishes and mounting styles for use throughout the project including the Classic Cylinder 300CCH with swan neck arms.
