The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations (2013) became law in the UK on 1 January 2014 and refer to the government’s interpretation of the EU Directive 2012/19/EU.As a manufacturer of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) it is Philip Payne’s responsibility to ensure that measures are in place to allow for the environmentally sound disposal of this equipment once it reaches the end of its lives.
Philip Payne Limited is a member of the WEEE Producer Compliance Scheme for Non-Household EEE with registration number WEE/DK0073UQ.
Philip Payne Limited has registered with WERCS WEEE Scheme registration number WEE/KP3638PZ/SCH, and its responsibilities under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 will be discharged by WERCS Limited. WERCS Limited is an approved producer compliance scheme registered with the Environment Agency.
WEEE Marking
All Philip Payne Ltd products placed on the UK market on or after 13 August 2005 are marked with the WEEE symbol, which is a crossed out wheelie bin with a date line under it to state it was placed on the market after the above date.
