Shakespeare’s Globe is a reconstruction of the Globe Theatre, an Elizabethan playhouse for which William Shakespeare wrote his plays, in the London Borough of Southwark, on the south bank of the River Thames.

A selection of Philip Payne emergency luminaires from the Architectural Range have been installed at the Globe including the wall mounted 250FC. The original Philip Payne blade luminaire, the 250 FC has been re-dimensioned and re-engineered many times, but the essential design of fixed void bracketry and a demountable gear section remains unchanged, making installation and maintenance as simple as ever.
