The new Tyke range from Philip Payne builds on our heritage of design-led emergency lighting with fresh innovation and flexibility. Compact, powerful, and beautifully engineered, Tyke brings safety and style together in one discreet form.

The new Tyke comes with five optical distributions – Discreet, Spot, Area, Corridor+ and Corner – providing optimal spacings for escape routes, open areas and points of emphasis.

Tyke achieves a 60% reduction in total embodied carbon (over previous versions), reduced energy consumption and all plastics are made from 100% recycled polycarbonate.

Tyke features advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology, with Specto-XT wireless communication versions available. Designed for longevity and low energy consumption, every luminaire is backed by our extensive product warranty.

With colour customisation, precision optics, and the seamless finish allows the Tyke to blend effortlessly into its surroundings while delivering reliable, compliant performance.

Lens Options

• Discreet – Creates a seamless finish that blends elegantly into ceilings giving minimal visual impact on the charge indicator.
• Spot – Provides focused illumination on points of emphasis, all with minimal visual impact.
• Area – Delivering balanced illumination across open area spaces, ensuring safe movement while achieving up to 16M spacings.
• Corridor+ – Delivering balanced illumination across escape routes, ensuring safe movement while achieving up to 23M spacings. Giving additional illuminance on each point of emphasis.
• Corner – Crafted to illuminate changes in direction, guiding occupants seamlessly around turns on the escape whilst reducing additional luminaires.

All TYKE Recessed options can be uprated to IP65 with the addition of an IP65 bezel accessory. The TYKE Surface is already engineered to an IP65 rating.

Colour customisation

White and black finishes are available as standard.
