Many modern buildings are designed with “stay put” or dynamic evacuation strategies where emergency exit can be managed via fire detection status.

Traditional exit signs cannot adapt to the circumstances of an evolving incident. Dynamic signage addresses this issue by redirecting people during an emergency, and automatically identifying the optimal exit route.

Bi-message signs indicating both GO/NO-GO options allow the instruction to change dependent on the alarm status/signal. Semi-secret facing panels obscure one of the options to reveal a standard directional exit instruction or a clear warning not to proceed.
