Birmingham Town Hall

Birmingham Town Hall

United Kingdom

Birmingham Town Hall is a concert hall and venue for popular assemblies opened in 1834 and situated in Victoria Square, Birmingham. It is a Grade I listed building. The Town Hall has undergone a £35m renovation, funded by Birmingham City Council, Heritage Lottery Fund and European Regional Development Fund.

A selection of Philip Payne emergency luminaires from the Architectural range were installed at the Town Hall including the wall mounted 250FC.
The original Philip Payne blade luminaire, the 250FC has been re-dimensioned and re-engineered many times, but the essential design of fixed void bracketry and a demountable gear section remains unchanged, making installation and maintenance as simple as ever.
